The Best Mobile Detailing Apps of 2026

Mobile Service Sync is the best app for a mobile detailer in 2026. Your customer books on your own page by typing their plate, choosing the detail and taking a time that fits your area, your hours and the vans you have out. Then the app carries the visit: inspection photos before you start, stops in drive order, texts, and a review request when you finish. It costs $49 a month, month to month, with 14 days free and no card.

10 criteria, every fact read from the vendor's own website on November 7, 2026.

The finish is your work. Everything around it, from the booking to the payment, is the app's.

One Mobile Detail, Start to Finish

Six moments every curbside detail passes through, and which apps cover each one on the plan a one-person business would buy first.

  1. Booked

The customer picks the detail and a time on your page, and the page turns away an address outside your area or an hour no van is free.

First plan: Mobile Service Sync, OrbisX, fieldd and Jobber. Partly: Urable (higher plan) and QuoteIQ (higher plan).

  2. Known

The car is on the job before you leave: year, make and model from a plate or a VIN, kept for the next visit.

First plan: Mobile Service Sync, OrbisX, fieldd and Mobile Tech RX. Partly: Urable (higher plan).

  3. Routed

The day's stops go in the order that drives the least, so the third car is not across town from the second.

First plan: Mobile Service Sync, OrbisX and Urable. Partly: fieldd (add-on), Jobber (higher plan) and QuoteIQ (higher plan).

  4. Recorded

Inspection photos and notes go in at the car, even in an underground lot where the phone loses its bars.

First plan: Mobile Service Sync. Partly: Jobber (partial) and QuoteIQ (partial).

  5. Texted

The customer hears from you in one thread, both ways: running late, finished, and the photos of the finish.

First plan: Mobile Service Sync and fieldd. Partly: OrbisX (partial), Urable (add-on), Jobber (higher plan), Mobile Tech RX (partial) and QuoteIQ (higher plan).

  6. Reviewed

A review request goes out after every job on its own, so the good ones are not left to memory.

First plan: Mobile Service Sync, OrbisX, fieldd, Urable and Mobile Tech RX. Partly: Jobber (add-on) and QuoteIQ (higher plan).

Why Mobile Service Sync Comes Out on Top

Mobile Service Sync

100.0 out of 100

Mobile Service Sync is field software for businesses that do their work at the customer's vehicle, and a mobile detailer uses nearly all of it from the first week. The car is the record, the booking page knows your map, and the phone holds the day.

  • Customers book on your hosted page or a widget on your own site, type their plate, and the year, make, model, trim and engine fill in on their own.
  • Open times follow your hours, your service area and how many techs and vans are working, and a detail holds its own length times the number of cars, so a three-car driveway takes the right share of the day.
  • Inspection photos, job status, line items, marking a job done, cash and check and the time clock all work with no signal and sync later. Only card payments and texts need a connection.
  • One click puts a tech's stops for the day in order on real drive times.
  • Two-way texting with photos, 1,000 texts a month on Core, and a Google or Facebook review request after every job.
  • Payment before you drive off: cards at 2.9% + $0.30 on standard cards, bank payments at $0.20 flat per transaction, and cash or check marked paid even with no signal.
  • Starts at$49 a month
  • Trial14 days free, no card
  • ContractMonth to month, no contract, no onboarding fee
  • AppsiPhone and Android

What Mobile Detailers Ask Before They Switch

What is the best app for mobile detailing?
Mobile Service Sync is the best mobile detailing app on this site. Customers book on your page with their plate, inside your service area; the app saves inspection photos and job updates with no signal; one click orders the day's stops; and texting and review requests are included from $49 a month.
Which detailing apps let customers book with their license plate?
Mobile Service Sync asks for the plate on its booking page and fills in the vehicle from it. Among the others, fieldd looks up plates in every US state and OrbisX scans plates and VINs, Urable decodes VINs through CARFAX on Pro but lists no plate lookup, Mobile Tech RX scans VINs, and Jobber and QuoteIQ describe no customer vehicle record.
Does a mobile detailer need route optimization?
Yes, as soon as a day holds more than two or three cars, because the drive between them is time nobody pays you for. Mobile Service Sync and Urable put it on the first plan and OrbisX advertises a route planner; Jobber needs Connect at $139 a month, QuoteIQ needs Elite at $299.99, fieldd needs a Toolkit unlock, and Mobile Tech RX names none.
Which detailing apps work in a parking garage with no signal?
Mobile Service Sync is the only app here that documents finishing a job offline: inspections and photos, status, line items, completion, cash and check and the time clock all save and sync later. Jobber keeps checklists and notes, QuoteIQ captures photos and inspections, Mobile Tech RX says it needs a connection, and Urable, OrbisX and fieldd do not say.
How much does mobile detailing software cost?
From $49 a month for Mobile Service Sync's Core plan, which covers booking, routes, texting and review requests for one user and 20 jobs a month; Growth at $175 removes the job cap. Rival plans with the same pieces run from $155 to $299.99 a month before unpublished fees and texting credits, and the table above lists each one.
Who publishes this ranking?
Mobile Service Sync publishes Mobile Detailing Apps and puts its own app first. Facts about the other six apps come only from their own websites, each one linked on its review, and the scoring method is set out on How We Score.
